Cirenia: My favorite part of working at Mayde Creek is keeping it clean. I have worked here for 7 years. I like my job here. I like working in the cafeteria and the hallways and keeping them clean. It’s nice to keep the cafeteria, the floors, the hallways, and the bathrooms clean. And I like working here because of the people. I like working together as a team with the other custodians. We have good teamwork. We all like working together.
“I think the best part of being in robotics this year has to be that everyone in the team is new. We don’t know what we’re doing straightaway. Everyone is trying to doing their own thing, but everyone is trying to make a part of the team. To teach themselves how to program and engineer. I’ve learned that it takes many different types of people to make a perfect team. You can’t have just people who are introverted and know how to program. You need to have an extrovert, who can take a leadership role and to help the team. I think my role is more of the introvert side. I stay and I follow the leader and I make sure my work gets done.
